This position is located in the Bureau of Overseas Building Operations, Office of Residential Design & Furnishing, Operations Directorate (OBO/OPS/RDF). RDF provides and manages interior design services, and supplies the furniture, furnishings, equipment, and representational supplies for officially designated representational residences overseas.
Duties
Serves as the primary technical authority in the Office of Residential Design and Furnishing.
Oversees and implements the necessary program systems to ensure a vital and effective supply and inventory management and accountability program.
Develops and maintains record SOPs for all processes used in part to support the procurement, tracking, shipping, and logistics of all furniture, fixtures, equipment, and representational supplies for designated representational residences worldwide.
Serves as Contracting Officer Representative (COR) on procurement of furniture, furnishings, equipment, and supplies.
Requirements

- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Statement of Employment & Financial Interest required prior to appointment.
Qualifications
Applicants must meet all the required qualification requirements described below by the closing date of this announcement.
NOTE: Applicants must meet time-in-grade and time after competitive appointment requirements, by the closing date of this announcement.
Time-In-Grade Requirements: Federal applicants must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade to satisfy time-in-grade restrictions, per 5CFR 300, Subpart F.
Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position.
Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience utilizing the Integrated Logistics Management System (ILMS/Ariba), to include the DOS purchase card program, to conduct procurement and inventory management activities.
Experience advising stakeholders on policy and record standard operation procedures used in part to support the procurement, inventory, tracking, shipping, and logistics.
Experience serving as a Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR)
There is no substitute of education for specialized experience for the GS-13 position.
