You will serve as a Supervisory IT Specialist in the Digital Networks and Applications Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Duties
You will provide classified and unclassified architecture, design, and service engineering support for point and enterprise solutions.
You will provide consultancy to and engineering solutions for premise and cloud architectures.
You will maintain technology and product roadmaps designed to capture investment allocation, obsolescence, and configuration management.
You will provide consultancy and engineering solutions for a diverse customer profile across the enterprise.
You will provide systems analysis, customer facilitation, product exploration, market research, and emerging technology planning and technical requirements analysis, and solution formulation.
You will coordinate and assigning work assignments to subordinates, based on organizational priorities, selective consideration of difficulty and requirements of assignments, and capabilities of employees.
Requirements

- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area Systems Security Manager level 722 within 12 months of appointment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector at the next lower pay band (NM-04) or grade level (GS-13/14), demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined:1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
In addition to your experience demonstrating the four competencies above, you have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band NM-04 or grade level GS-13/14 or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of specialized experience for this position include the following: 1) Providing expert technical knowledge of classified and unclassified network architecture, design, and engineering; 2) Providing expert technical expertise in all IT functional areas, and ability to integrate this expertise with practical knowledge of the mission, objectives, and operation; 3) Demonstrating expert knowledge of systems development tools, hardware architecture and application software products; 4) Demonstrating expert knowledge of the current state of network infrastructure technologies and DoD standards and polices to ensure the network remains operational and secure; and 5) Coordinating and/or assigning work assignments to subordinates, based on organizational priorities, selective consideration of difficulty and requirements of assignments, and/or capabilities of employee.
