Duties
Manage logistics contingency planning to support USINDOPACOM and USARPAC missions to meet command, Army, and Department of Defense (DoD) wide mission objectives.
Provide expert level support to the USARPAC Commander by infusing Operational Contract Support (OCS) doctrine into Commanders plans, across the Range of Military Operations for all functional areas to support logistics operations.
Facilitate sustained and persistent cooperation during periods of peace and during contingencies and disaster mitigation in the theater.
Identify gaps in planning, policy, and procedures that could potentially cause risk to personnel and material while continuously upgrading preparedness in order to minimize these gaps.
Perform and assist as necessary in the conduct of the USARPAC Contract Requirements Review Board (CRRB) hosted by the G4 on a monthly basis.
Requirements may include determining contract spend data in a given year, obtaining information from the contract requirements owner on assigned Contract Officer Representative (COR), and other information as needed.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
- This position is designated as Drug Testing Required. Incumbent is subject to random urinalysis testing IAW DA guidelines. Incumbent must complete DA 5019.
- This position occasionally requires the employee to travel away from the normal duty station up to 25% of the time.
- Employee must be willing and able to travel on military and/or commercial aircraft or by other mode of transportation to accomplish mission requirements.
- This position has been designated as "Key" and shall not be vacated during a national emergency or mobilization as doing so would seriously impair the capability of the organization to function effectively.
- The incumbent must be exempted from recall to active duty and will receive training to ensure mission accomplishment of sustaining base operations during mobilization.
- The position may require the employee to work overtime.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience with planning, coordinating, and evaluating logistical actions required to plan and support specified missions, programs, operations and exercises; and identifying resource requirements needed to develop and support specific programs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
