Duties

The purpose of this position is for the incumbent to improve program/ administrative operations. The incumbent selects the best approach to analyze subjects and issues from multiple options but refers precedent-setting issues to the supervisor, which best characterizes the complexity of assignments. Provides advisory services on matters related to program support work, such as planning, research, analysis, correspondence, communication, and/or liaison activities.

Qualifications

Applicants must demonstrate that they meet the Minimum Qualification requirements as noted below. Specialized Experience: GS-9: You must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and responsibility to the GS-7 level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors) performing (2) of the (3) duties listed below: Applying management and organization techniques used to plan and perform analyses of issues or problems; Providing advisory services on matters related to program support work; Understanding of management and organizational principles and practices. OR Successful completion of at least a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related.
