You will serve as a INFORMATION OPERATIONS (IO) PLANNER , Integrated Joint Fires Center (J8IJF), Joint Innovation and Experimentation Division (J81) within HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND.
Duties
You will supports a team comprised of all-domain subject matter experts from across the Joint Force in the planning of integrated Joint Fires plans supporting command operations.
You will manage all aspects of IO support to theater integrated fires Joint planning, to include attack coordination, target deconfliction, and command guidance for the maneuver of IO forces in the execution of fires.
You will develop integrated Joint fires response options for the National Command Authority during crisis action planning.
You will facilitate integrated Joint fires planning and operations of USINDOPACOM subordinate commands by coordinating the approval of IO requests and by advocating for intelligence and targeting support from other combatant commands.
You will provides technical advice and administrative guidance regarding policies, procedures, and problem resolution for IO activities.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

- This position is considered Key/Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Providing overarching expertise in the planning of: full spectrum operations planning; manned and unmanned platform operations; kinetic and non-kinetic attacks; special munition considerations; mitigation of Risk to Mission and Risk to Force.
2) Developing, publishing, and updating IO support to integrated Joint fires plans in alignment with the Commander's intent and priorities of effort.
3) Coordinating with subordinate joint forces, sub-unified commands, service components, and functional components to ensure contingency and crisis plans provide flexible Joint fires options throughout the AOR and that intelligence supports planning in accordance with USINDOPACOM priorities.
4) Integrating Information Operations and Special Technical Operations within the planning of traditional IO support of USINDOPACOM contingency planning, and crisis action planning.
5) Applying knowledge of Joint Fires planning, policies, processes and procedures along with demonstrated experience in Joint Targeting Cycle planning, execution, and assessment.
