You will serve as an IT Project Manager (CUSTSPT) in the Information Technology & Cyber Security (IT&CS) Office, Code 109, in the of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF)
Duties
You will present controversial or political observations and findings relating to the effective and efficient use of Information Technology (IT) systems, applications, and information processing to those in the subordinate command or detachment.
You will contribute to long range plans for the acquisition, management, delivery and control of information services under the cognizance of PSNS and IMF.
You will review, analyze, and assess IT programs for overall compliance with Federal, DOD, Department of the Navy (DON), Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), and other policies.
You will ensure policies and procedures are in place so that information systems are reliable and accessible and defends against unauthorized access to application systems and data.
You will participate in strategic planning to support the design and implementation of streamlined processes that take full advantage of IT capabilities utilizing NAVSEA methodologies and tool sets, as required.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for IT Project manager, proficiency level Intermediate within 12 months of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing oversight for analyzing, managing, or performing work necessary to plan, design, develop, acquire, document, test, implement, integrate, maintain, or modify systems for solving problems or accomplishing work processes by using Information Technology(IT) systems. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
