This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol (AOC), Office of the Chief Security Officer (OCSO), Administrative Services Division. The Management & Program Analyst performs tasks in support of program and administrative functions including budgeting and financial management, procurement and inventory controls, human resources, records management and special projects and studies.

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, an applicant's one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for successful job performance. To qualify at the GS-13 level, your resume must clearly demonstrate that you have one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience comparable in difficulty and responsibility to at least the GS-12 level in the federal service. Examples of qualifying experience include the following types of tasks performed on a regular and recurring basis:
(1) Analyzing and evaluating programs and data for efficiency and effectiveness related to agency, departmental or division financial matters and operations;
(2) Reviewing and preparing operational budgets submissions in accordance with budget projections and requirements.
(3) Reviewing requests for procurement of complex equipment and services;
(4) Developing and implementing program policies and procedures related to the improvement of mission goals and objectives; and
(5) Developing cost analysis and performing cost benefit evaluations of large scale organization projects.
To qualify at the GS-12 level, your resume must clearly demonstrate that you have one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience comparable in difficulty and responsibility to at least the GS-11 level in the federal service. Examples of qualifying experience include the following types of tasks performed on a regular and recurring basis:
(1) Conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses to assess and improve program effectiveness.
(2) Reviewing requests for procurement of complex equipment and services; and
(3) Performing cost benefit evaluations and price analysis of large scale organization projects.
