About the Position: This is a Program Analyst, GS-0343-12 position with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Southwestern Division (SWD), Fort Worth District, Programs and Project Management Division and will be located in Fort Worth, TX. This is a permanent and full-time position.

Duties
Serves as a Program Analyst for the Programs and Project Management Division, Fort Worth District with primary support to the Military Programs Branch and peripheral support to the Southwestern Division (SWD).
Prepares and analyzes programmatic and project information for Military Project Review Boards and Program Management Reviews.
Collects, consolidates, analyzes, and shares financial and budgetary data and products, to support program, District and regional staff.
Responsible for trend analysis, project/program schedule retrieval, analytical evaluations, interpretation, decision briefs, and recommendations on courses of action -generally framing any deliverables for decision makers and staff officers.
Directs, coordinates and synchronizes financial management activities associated with the USACE P2, RMS, CAPCES, EDW, and CEFMS Automated Information Systems.
Responsible for being cognizant of all aspects of program/District related operational activities in assigned areas and for keeping management fully advised as to the current status of issues and problems on assignments and initiatives.
Provides advisory and policy support to management on program and project issues requiring resolution at the Program, District, Regional or HQUSACE levels.
Reviews and evaluates overall programmatic execution using appropriate criteria.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) developing budget/funding documentation for a military program; AND 2) utilizing an automated financial management system to track program/project funds (i.e. Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests and Funding Authorization Documents) or monitor their usage; AND 3) communicating with management or project managers regarding funding/scheduling issues. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11 or above).
