The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a staff analyst to plan, organize, review, and evaluate Air Force program integration in participation with Sensitive Activities within DoD. Responsible for prompt accurate review and coordination of unique and highly sensitive proposals.
Duties
This is a GG-13 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-13 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-13 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.

DUTIES
Serves as analyst, advisor, and consultant whose primary focus is on integration of mission and Service equity requirements yielding satisfaction of Commanders' requirements.
Responsible to the Senior Staff Analyst for daily coordination of AF policy application to proposals from Organizations and their supported missions.
Provides advisory services to managers, supervisors, and peers on assigned programs.

- All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period.
- Position is designated Special-sensitive, and incumbent must be able to obtain and retain a TOP SECRET (TS) security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and may be subject to polygraph examination.

Qualifications

Specialized Experience:
Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include Knowledge of a wide range of security and automated system-of-systems concepts, principles, and practices in order to render recommendations significantly revising, interpreting, or developing critical AF policies or programs. Knowledge of guidelines, instructions, and directives issued by DoD, Air Force, Combat Support Agency, and other national level organizations including the Executive Branch level. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Knowledge of federal laws, executive orders, instructions, directives, principles, and practices governing to administer an Air Force wide Sensitive Activities.
Knowledge of analytical and evaluative methods, including a wide range of qualitative and quantitative techniques, plus a thorough understanding of how regulatory service programs are administered to measure compliance, assess effectiveness, identify deficiencies, analyze trends, and make recommendations for enhancements and improvements of programs and the resolution of problems.
Knowledge of security procedures to handle, protect and maintain control of TS/SCI/SAP classified material and media.
Knowledge of organizational structures, missions, objectives, operating programs, key positions, and administrative policies and procedures across Air Force to conduct studies. Studies are frequently ad hoc team efforts which identify considerations and recommendations for the resolution of substantive organizational and complex program issues not susceptible to treatment by standard methods.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, negotiate complex issues; and maintains good working relationships.
Ability to analyze, interpret and integrate Air Force support requirements into plans, activities and operations and make recommendations to the Senior Staff Analyst and the Division Chief in unique situations with no precedence.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
