Duties
You will serve as the supervisor of the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI)/Flank Speed Program Section and as the lead of Customer Support Services for Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD).
You will plan, coordinate, and carry out major projects related to NMCI, Flank Speed, and its associated business solutions including video teleconference devices, wireless communication devices, and multi-functional devices.
You will be responsible for the continued operations and sustainment of critical NMCI services such as: NMCI order management, infrastructure requests, hardware and software requests, account management, storage requests, and LAN requests.
You will also be responsible for the emergent Flank Speed services such as Office365 accounts, NVD/AVD requests, software request, telephony, and future capabilities.
You will research, analyze, and evaluate all customer requests as it relates to NMCI and Flank Speed, providing technical support where needed.
You will provide project direction related to information management systems and information network technology.
You will gather data, prepare briefs, develop and defend budgets, assist with procurements related to NMCI, Flank Speed, mobile devices, multi-functional devices, and provide advice to senior level management when needed to aid in decision making.
You will performs the full range of supervisory duties and had responsibility for a staff of IT Specialists.
Requirements

- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 802 IT Project Manager Advanced level within 12 months of appointment.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-4 pay band (GS-11 and GS-12 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying information technology policies and practices to provide service delivery technical support ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, or availability of an organization's systems (e.g. Navy Marine Corps Intranet, Flank Speed), networks, or data. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
