Duties

You will serve as oversight and control for all Information Technology Enterprise development efforts for existing and emergent capabilities. You will ensure all information system solutions follow documented Enterprise Governance Model, which drives digital transformation. You will analyze functional business requirements for development/automation purposes and provides high-level solutions and assessments as necessary. You will gather data, prepare briefs, develop and defend budgets, assist with procurements related to Enterprise IT Development Software or services, and provide feedback or advice to senior level management. You will perform the full range of supervisory duties and had responsibility for a staff of IT Specialists. You will make assignments, set and adjust short term priority goals and objectives and provide guidance on work or administrative issues. You will develop performance objectives, conduct performance evaluations, and undertake performance corrective actions.

Requirements

  • This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code 802 IT Project Manager, proficiency level Advanced, the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-4 pay band (GS-11/12 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing functional business requirements to provide or recommend system solutions or advancement for information technology development/automation purposes. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
