About the Position: Serves as Chief, Aerial Delivery Readiness and Safety Team, responsible for conducting field sites and validating the training materials, the timely and accurate analysis, development, and/or revision of training and education products for the Department of the Army Quartermaster School.

Duties

Serves as Chief, Aerial Delivery Readiness and Safety Team, responsible for conducting field sites and validating the training materials, the timely and accurate analysis, development, and/or revision of training and education products. Serves as a first-line supervisor, exercising the full range of personnel management responsibilities over subordinate positions. Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts priorities, and prepares schedules for work completion. Participates in Headquarter Department of the Army (HQDA) and Depart of Defense (DOD) boards, DOTMLPF-P reviews, and working groups related to Aerial Delivery Readiness and Safety.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing duties such as advising on training matters related to readiness and safety of one or more Aerial Delivery Systems; planning, organizing, executing, and improving the quality of training programs; applying knowledge of Aerial Delivery readiness and safety as related to doctrine, organizations, equipment & training. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Education Consultation, Coaching and CollaborationProblem SolvingTechnical Credibility Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
