You will serve as a Supervisory Quality Assurance Specialist in the Industrial Quality Department of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.
Duties
You will supervise a variety of industrial Quality personnel, determine manpower requirements, plan and assign work and develop annual budget requirements for the division.
You will develop, monitor, and manage aircraft maintenance programs and QA Surveillance Plans (QASP).
You will conduct QA inspections and prepare correspondence to communicate the results to upper management.
You will provide technical advice and assists in reviews of quality programs to revise procedures as needed to quality personnel.
You will evaluate performance of subordinates, give instructions, provide advice and counsel, resolves complaints or grievances, effects disciplinary measures as needed and supports the equal employment opportunity program and carry out its policies.
You will ensure optimum QA methods, practices and techniques are implemented.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the level GS-12 or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Comprehensive knowledge of QA methods, principles and practices and knowledge of NAVAIR, OPNAV and local instructions governing the application of QA methodology; 2) Must demonstrate a comprehension knowledge of Continuous Process Improvement {CPI) techniques; 3) Expert knowledge of quality programs, procedures, and Aerospace Industry Quality Standard; 4) Extensive knowledge of NAVAIR Competency Aligned Organization, FRC organization, complex work processes and interactive management information systems and equipment; 5) Ability to conduct QA studies, analyze the results, and develop sound recommendations for corrections and improvements in the QA program; 6) Must demonstrate adaptability, flexibility and exceptional skills in planning, programming, team building, organizing, scheduling, influencing, and problem definition; 7) Ability to confront problems and take corrective action, ability to make decisions, and the capability to work under pressure; 8) High degree of self-initiative and have the ability to meet and effectively negotiate with higher level personnel; 9) Supervise the work of others and promote equal employment opportunity.
