About the Position: This position is with the 63rd Readiness Division, Full Time Support Civilian Branch, Regional Personnel Support Center, Human Resources Office located at Moffett Field, California.
Duties
Provide input to identify work processes and personnel requirements, resources, and services needed to ensure readiness of command.
Coordinate the in-processing of new personnel.
Process various personnel actions to include performance appraisals, award recommendations, and payroll.
Initiate, monitor, and track a large variety of Requests for Personnel Action (RPA).
Certify and screen conditions of employment to prevent anti-deficiency act violations.
Assist with managing, monitoring, coordinating, and providing regulatory guidance on civilian personnel actions, organizational structures, and position management.
Provide advice to management on personnel management matters of average difficulty.
Provide assistance and advice for civilian training and leader development, workers compensation, performance management, and employee benefit actions.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes interpreting administrative and personnel regulations; providing guidance on personnel management and administrative support; initiating civilian personnel actions; and performing support functions in the areas of benefits, recordkeeping, suspense tracking, correspondence composition and review, supply requisitioning, and position management. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).

Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position, such as Human Resources, Management or Business Administration. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then, divide your semester hours of graduate education beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
