You will serve as a MANAGEMENT & PROGRAM ANALYST in the ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES DIVISION, EXECUTIVE SUPPORT OFFICE (CODE 1102.2) of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.

Duties

You will maintain effective relationships and gain cooperation of employees, supervisors, and managers. You will analyze the effectiveness of program operations in meeting established goals and objectives. You will utilize various data sources to create reports to identify areas of concern. You will provide a variety of management services essential to the direction and operation of the organization's mission.

• You will be required to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience reviewing administrative documents such as organizational structures; Experience preparing, tracking, and reviewing requests for personnel actions and related personnel materials; Experience interpreting regulations, practices, and principles of personnel management to support program operations. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Successful completion of 1 full year of graduate level education

One year of full-time graduate education is considered to be the number of credit hours that the school attended has determined to represent 1 year of full-time study. If that information cannot be obtained from the school, 18 semester hours should be considered as satisfying the 1 year of full-time study requirement.

Successful completion of a Bachelor's Degree with superior academic achievement

or

A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
