You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT ASSISTANT (OA) in the Headquarters, Naval District Washington of NSA ANNAPOLIS.
Duties
You will perform administrative, clerical and office automation work, including word processing and a variety of similar functions in support of the organization's mission and functions.
You will prepare travel requests and vouchers.
You will coordinate requests for supplies or equipment.
You will prepare correspondence covering subjects of an administrative nature, both internal and external.
You will create formats to simplify and expedite assignments and will provide instructions on their use to others in the office.
You will use available systems to track controlled correspondence.
You will maintain office filing systems, both electronic and paper, in accordance with established guidance.
You will perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Qualifications
This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience analyzing administrative issues and presenting recommended solutions;
Experience with various software programs, such as spreadsheets, word processing, graphics, and data bases to perform administrative duties;
Experience providing clerical and automation support related to records management, management controls, maintenance of tracking systems, and preparing and completing forms and correspondence; AND
Experience with filing, receptionist duties, and other clerical practices and operations of an office.
