You will serve as a Equal Empoloyment Specialist in the Commander, Navy Installations Command of HDQTRS NDW.
Duties
You will review equal employment opportunity (EEO) complaints to identify proposed resolutions.
You will advise managers on courses of actions to eliminate barriers to equal employment opportunity (EEO).
You will facilitate meetings to resolve difficult or emotionally charged employment disputes.
You will instruct managers and employees on the discrimination complaints process.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Explaining equal employment opportunity complaint procedures, requirements, rights and responsibilities, EEO laws/regulations/policy applicable to such; 2) Determining actual or potential problems related to implementation and evaluation of affirmative action progress and recommending corrective courses of action; 3) Designing, developing and conducting specialized briefings, orientation, and training for managers, supervisors, and employees on EEO program requirements.
