About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the US Army Intelligence and Security CMD Mission Support Command/ACOFS G6 Fort Belvoir, VA.

Duties

Develops (to include writing requirements) analysis and submission of long-range, Multi-year Information Technology intelligence programs within the non-MIP and MIP to submit all requirements into the program builds (POM/IPBS). Develops Information Management/Information Technology (IM/IT) cost analysis for INSCOM and identifies shortfalls in the Intelligence Program and Budget Submission for Army IM/IT resource programs. Analyzes IM/IT budget estimates including supporting data to provide recommendations in compliance with regulatory and legal limitations within the major resource programs. Analyzes new or proposed financial/contractual legislation, regulations, and guidance to determine impact on IT resources within each non-MIP and MIP program that DAMI-IM manages/advice.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
  • Must obtain and maintain Top Secret security clearance based on single-scope background investigation (SSBI) with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
  • TDY will be required up to 10% of the time.
  • ALL INSCOM employees may be subject to extended TDY or worldwide deployments during crisis situations to perform mission essential functions as determined by management.
