Position is located with the Nonappropriated Fund (NAF) Human Resources Office, Fort Carson, Colorado.

Duties
Leads a multi-functional team of Human Resources Specialists and Assistants who represent all functional areas of human resources administration, assists in developing long and short term plans for the office operations.

Plans and carries out personally performed work and assures the successful performance of team members.
Applies a broad, multifunctional knowledge of human resources management and administration laws, regulations, policies, programs, technologies, and practices.

- This is a CHRA NAF Career Path II position. Incumbent must complete the requirements for CHRA NAF Career Path II within twenty-four (24) months of placement into the position
Qualifications
1. Possess eighteen (18) months or more, multi-functional experience in a full service human resources operating environment. Experience must demonstrate knowledge of Staffing & Recruitment and at least one of the following functional human resources competencies: Position Classification, Management Employee Relations, Labor Relations, or Training.
2. Experience analyzing, evaluating and recommending appropriate resolutions to complex interrelated Human Resources problems and issues.
3. Possess prior experience using Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the ability to work with a variety of human resources information systems.
The related work experience must have been equivalent in difficulty and complexity to NF-201-04 and reflected on your resume.
Highly Preferred: In addition to the qualifications listed above, applicants will possess prior work experience in a NAF Human Resources Office in a recruitment and placement capacity and have successfully completed of training in Basic Staffing, Customer Service, Organizational Structure, Basic Writing, and Time Management.
