About the Position: Fort Leonard Wood is located in the beautiful South-Central Missouri Ozarks. The Fort covers more than 61,000 acres and is located in Pulaski County, Missouri. Bordering the installation to the North are the towns of Waynesville/St. Robert and Interstate 44. St. Louis is a 2 hour drive to the East along I-44 and Springfield is a little more than an hour's drive to the West of Fort Leonard Wood.

Duties

Develop internal standard supply operating procedures. Ensure accountability of government property. Maintain automated property book records using the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A), provide guidance and training to subordinate personnel on the automated system and perform all necessary administrative functions and reports. Serve as technical expert for Property Book procedures, providing technical support/advice to customers. Work with auditors in verifying the validity of records, files and supporting documents. Maintain data necessary for the compilation of database accuracy.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Incumbent is subject to a medical clearance examination prior to employment. This position may require an annual physical or medical surveillance examination.
  • The duties of the position require Temporary Duty Travel approximately 5% of the duty time.
  • An appropriate, valid driver's license is required and must be maintained for the position.
