As Chief of the Service Integration Office, you will supervise and manage a team of technical IT integrators providing JSC requirements to OCIO Enterprise Service Lines and ensuring the timely delivery of IT services at JSC. In addition, you will work with the JSC OCIO leadership team to set office strategy, including managing with budget and risk posture, and provide executive-level communications with senior mission, program, Center, and Agency customers
Duties
Aligns with the Johnson Space Center CIO and the OCIO management vision, philosophies and organizational goals and its programs maintaining a healthy organizational culture, including implementation of policy, processes, and protocols.
Ensures the delivery of services are on time and on budget, Influences, motivates, and challenges others; adapts leadership styles to a variety of situations.
Collaborates and integrates with missions and programs to ensure Agency and Center initiatives and projects are delivering value and being successfully implemented and executed.
Communicates status of Office activities to customers and management on a periodic, recurring and event
driven basis.
Communicates and engages with Johnson Space Center (JSC) community through various forums and methods of engagement and communication.
Analyzes, evolves, and defines Office level processes and workflows for conformance to existing and emergent policy, regulations, and directives.
Designs and tracks development goals for office employees as agreed to by management and the employee.
Promotes and ensure a diverse, inclusive, and innovative work environment for the organization.
Perform a full range of supervisory duties which includes assigning and evaluating work; recommending personnel actions; taking disciplinary actions; and identifying training needs and developing employees.

Requirements
- Current Federal employees must meet qualifications, time in grade, and 90 days after competitive appointment requirements by the closing date of the announcement.

Qualifications
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
GS-15: To qualify at the GS-15 level, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level:
Overseeing information technology (IT) projects utilizing NASA's Federal budget process cycle, which includes planning, executing, tracking, and reporting;
Executing NASA's contract management processes, rules, and regulations;
Leading diverse teams to operate optimally and achieve an organization's key objectives;
Communicating with and making executive summary presentations to senior and executive levels of management.
AND
IF you are qualifying based on experience, you MUST also have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below:
