This position is located in the eCommerce Directorate of the Sales, Marketing and Logistics Group, Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA). The primary purpose of the position is to manage and coordinate all technology related activities associated with DeCA's eCommerce or web-based activities related to commissary sales from both the customers and DeCA's perspectives.
Duties
Responsible for ensuring the function of all Information Technology (IT) systems related to online commerce, including training the operators, problem solving, collecting and analyzing data to solve problems or recommend/design improvements, and overseeing maintenance of equipment and systems.
Analyzing data collected and recommending changes or improvements based on conclusions drawn.
Staying abreast of retail developments in commercial grocery operations, evaluating such developments and recommending new initiatives for DeCA based on the evaluations.
Evaluating existing and developing technologies and leveraging those technologies to keep pace with retail grocery activities.

Requirements

Qualifications
You must meet the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) qualifications for series 2210 and additional requirements by the announcement closing date. Your resume must clearly show that you have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level by the closing date of this announcement. Experience can be under other Federal service pay systems, private sector, or military.
Examples of specialized experience include:
Analyze data collected and recommend changes or improvements based on conclusions drawn.
Evaluating existing and developing technologies and leveraging those technologies to keep pace with retail grocery activities.
Make decisions or recommendations that significantly influence important Agency IT policies or programs.
Providing assistance to customers on using eCommerce platforms and systems.
