You will serve as a Joint Exercise Plans and Program Specialist in the HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND.
Duties
You will provide decision support for developing and analyzing new concepts, plans, and strategies; training USINDOPACOM staff; and to enhance theater security cooperation.
You will manage readiness, doctrine, and lessons learned.
You will manage Training and Exercise program for the USINDOPACOM area of responsibility (AOR).
You will plan, schedule, execute, and assess joint training and exercises.
You will provide analytic support to deliberate and crisis action planning.
Requirements

Qualifications
GS-13
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing most or all of the following duties: 1) Planning, coordinating, programming, executing, and monitoring a variety of essential requirements necessary for the successful execution of a combatant command joint training and exercise program; 2) Providing professional analyses, authoritative information, and recommendations to shape mission-oriented program policy and direction; 3) Serving as a joint exercise plans & program technical advisor.
GS-12
of specialized experience to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing most or all of the following duties: 1) Planning, scheduling, executing and assessing joint training and exercise; 2) Providing analytic support to deliberate and crisis action planning; 3) Facilitating the planning and execution of the Commander's joint Exercise Program to enhance joint warfighting capabilities and readiness.
