About the Position: This position is with the Directorate of Public Works, in the Master Planning Division at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington.

Duties

Conduct assignment and termination of all buildings/facilities. Input data from Army Installation Status Reports (ISR) inspections into an automated system. Inspect buildings for correct building number, damage to the interior and exterior, and building use. Identify underutilized assets to the Real Property Accountable Officer.

Requirements

  • You may be expected to travel for this position. Temporary duty away from the office is occasional at 10% or less to attend meetings and/or meetings.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315. While probationary the incumbent can be terminated with limited appeal rights.
  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
