About the Position: The position is located within the Facility Management Division of the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center located on Fort Cavazos, TX. Employee will mainly work in an office environment, however, frequent and periodic construction site investigations/inspection are required. Reference Physical and Environmental factors within PD. Employee is expected to work a 40 hour week and is considered mission essential.

Duties

Responsible for the overall management, control, coordination and execution of assigned projects. Review project cost and schedule changes. Work closely with medical staff to determine optimum locations and size of clinical space to meet evolving health care requirements. Manages project contingency funds to ensure efficient and effective utilization.

Requirements

• This position may be inclement weather essential. This means that you must be willing to make every attempt to report for duty on time and/or remain on duty during severe weather conditions.
• A pre-placement medical examination may be required.
• A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
