This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: This is a Program Manager (Assistant Program Manager Acquisition) for Program Executive Office, Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense.
Duties
Establishes acquisition program priorities, monitors progress, and takes action to ensure that all milestones are met or workarounds are in place to mitigate potential issues.
Maintains liaison with appropriate internal and external stakeholders from DoD, DA, supporting organizations, and industry partners to ensure the program is on track to meet cost, schedule and performance goals.
Reviews technical resources, acquisition policies, and directives from higher echelons to initiate, plan, and direct a variety of activities critical to mission accomplishment.
Analyzes budget revisions, schedule adjustments, legislative/policy changes, and economic trends to determine their impact on assigned programs and take necessary action to minimize adverse effects.
Requirements

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience at NH-02 (GS-11) which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as performing ALL of the following duties; 1) Executing cost, schedule, and performance activities within the acquisition lifecycle framework 2) Coordinating acquisition support activities necessary to meet program objectives and 3) Supporting the development of complex acquisition strategy planning/documentation to manage the program portfolio.
