You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN in the Base Food Service Division, Marine Corps Installations East-Marine Corps Base of MARINE CORPS BASE.

Duties

You will update databases to reflect specialized or reconstructed information. You will conduct extensive and exhaustive database searches to retrieve and use data in response to various questions or problems, and to resolve data discrepancies. You will operate powered industrial forklifts and manual pallet jacks as required to load and unload supplies and deliveries. You will resolve problems by applying regulations and precedent actions, and other general guidelines You will maintain Mess Hall Equipment Replacement Records (MERR), Consolidated Memorandum Receipts (CMR) for Base Food Service and all mess halls, and food service contract Tables of Equipment (T/E's).

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.

  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
  • This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.

Qualifications

GS-06 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-05 or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector Providing supply support; reconciling requisitions; AND maintaining equipment records and receipts. Education

GS-05:
In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Successfully completed four years of education above high school level.

A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent
