You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN (OA) in the ???????PUBLIC WORKS DIVISION of MARINE CORPS BASE.
Duties
You will ensure funds are available and authorized for purchases, reconciles monthly transactions and maintains current status of credit card purchases to ensure monthly funding authority is not exceeded.
You will ensure that prompt payments are made to the vendors and that the monthly statements are reconciled within five (5) working days of the end of the billing period.
You will maintain all supporting documentation and cross-reference information when applicable on calls placed on Government Purchase Card (GPC) for auditing purposes.
You will be responsible for filing, disposition labels, and destruction of supporting documentation when files have met their destruction date.
You will utilize computerized bid lists, past performance, and new market sources.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- You will be required to move boxes of paper weighing as much as 40 pounds to reload printers and move computer terminals of equal weight.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing support in the procurement of supplies, equipment, and services; utilizing supply systems to determine supply and financial accountability; analyzing supply and inventory discrepancies; and applying purchasing regulations, policies, and procedures to make purchases.
