You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (ENTARCH/INFOSEC) in the Service Management Office (SMO) of the Digital, Analytics, Infrastructure, and Technology Advancement (DAiTA) Group, Digital and Networks Applications (DNA) Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Duties

You will provide cognizant AD 7.2 elements with quantitative (e.g., reliability) and qualitative (e.g., "usability") data and conveys customer feedback on new IT infrastructure elements. You will bring recurring problems to cognizant network administrators, systems administrators, and applications programmers. You will be responsible for providing input to the development of all technical elements of procurement requirements and specifications in support of NHD Technical Team. You will provide technical input for installation of new IT assets. You will develop and implement programs to ensure that systems, network, and data users are aware of, understand, and adhere to systems security policies and procedures. You will conduct risk and vulnerability assessments of planned and installed information systems to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and protection needs. You will develop systems security contingency plans and disaster recovery procedures. You will perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the Gs-11/12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.)Experience in a field such as Facilities and Equipment Operations, Logistics, Quality Assurance, Information Technology, and/or in other similar area. 2.) Ability to apply wide range of IT management skills to include strategic planning, capital planning and investment control, workforce planning, policy and standards development, resource management, knowledge management, auditing and information security management. 3.) Ability to facilitate achievement of department initiatives through monitoring compliance and analyzing areas of improvement in collaboration with process stakeholders and customers.
