This position is located at Physical Fitness Facilities. Incumbents for these vacancies can be assigned to either the Andrews Avenue or Fortenberry-Colton Physical Fitness Facility. Duties

Receive and resolve customer complaints. Assist patrons in use of the facility by checking out equipment, providing safety instructions and demonstrating new equipment. Plan, conduct, publicize, and arrange support for special events, social activities, tournaments, and related function. Provide leadership, guidance, and oversight in program operations. Provide on the job training to new employees.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Occasionally may be required to lift up to 45 lbs. with assistance.
• Must have availability to work, days, evenings weekends and holidays.
• This is a flexible position that there are no guaranteed hours. Must be willing to serve in a continuing position on a scheduled or as needed basis.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Work experience, which involved dealing with the general public. Best Qualified: 1. Possess six (6) months of working experience being a lead or supervisor. 2. Possess six (6) months of customer service experience. **Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications and all of the best qualifying criteria will be referred to the selecting official first.
