Duties

Circulate among patrons to assure service is satisfactory, receive and resolve customer complaints; provide information and general instructions on the use of equipment, facilities, and machinery. Assist patrons in use of the facility by checking out equipment. Plan, conduct, publicize, and arrange support for special events, social activities, and related functions. Lead the work of other employees. Answer questions of other employees on procedures, policies, and directives. Provide leadership, guidance, and oversight in program operations. Provide on-the job training to new employees. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Must be available to work rotating shifts.
• Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must attend Team Member Orientation within the first thirty (30) days of employment.
• This is a flexible position. Flexible positions have no guaranteed hours. A flexible employee serves in a continuing position on a scheduled or as needed basis.
• Must be available for Community Events that Business Operations Division supports. The events include, but not limited to, Oktoberfest, Freedom Fest, Children’s Fest, and Winterfest.

Qualifications

Work experience, which involved dealing with general public. Best Qualified Criteria: 1. Two (2) years of experience working in a Auto Skill or mechanic shop. 2. One (1) year experience working with Diagnostic equipment. 3. One (1) year experience working with Rec Trac or other Point of Sale register. **Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications and best qualifying criteria will be referred to the selecting official first. Remaining applicants will be referred for consideration if the certificate (referral list) is returned with no selection.**
