This position is located at The Physical Fitness Facilities. Incumbents for these vacancies can be assigned to either the Fort Novosel Physical Fitness Facility or Fortenberry-Colton Physical Fitness Facility. Duties

Receive and resolve customer complaints. Provide information and general instructions on the use of equipment, facilities and machinery. Assist patrons in the use of the facility by checking out equipment, providing safety instructions, and demonstrating new equipment. Plan, conduct, publicize, and arrange support for special events, social activities, tournaments and related functions.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Must attend Team Member Orientation within the first thirty (30) days of employment.
• This is a flexible position that there are no guaranteed hours. A flexible employee serves in a continuing position on a scheduled or as needed basis.
• Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

Work experience which involved dealing with the general public. Best Qualified Criteria: Minimum of 3 months experience in fitness center or sport related job. **Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications and best qualifying criteria will be referred to the selecting official first. **
