This position is part of the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy - Headquarters, Department of Energy. As a Management and Program Analyst, you will analyze and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency with which assigned DOE organizations and their components carry out their programs and functions and to develop information, advice, and recommendations for management to use in making decisions on the administrative and programmatic aspects of agency operations and management.

Qualifications
BASIC REQUIREMENT:
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as:
1) Provide human capital support such as writing and updating position descriptions, compiling hiring packages, and recruiting to assist the Budget Office Director.
2) Develop and/or execute funding opportunity announcements, merit reviews, and award selections within the grants process.
3) Ensure workforce and succession planning are aligned to advance the organization's strategic direction.
