Duties
You will conduct extensive research by use of supply source documentations (catalogs, instructions, technical bulletins and computer based databases)
You will coordinate and monitor program requirements with the Navy, GSA, DLA and mandatory procurement source inventory control points.
You will conduct necessary extensive data gathering and analysis.
You will receive, analyze and resolve stock fund requisition discrepancies through communication and coordination.
You will prepare and submit material purchase orders into the Logistics Inventory Control and Spares Systems.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This position requires heavy lifting of items weighing 45 pounds and over.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05/10 grade level or NO-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing most or all of the following duties: 1.) Coordinating/monitoring program requirements with the Navy, GSA, DLA and mandatory procurement source inventory control points; 2.) Conducting necessary extensive data gathering and analysis of information; 3.) Coordinating material requirements with program technical and management personnel; and 4.) Providing technical guidance and assistance to program personnel to ensure proper identification of items that may be produced.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
Education
The following education may be substituted in order to meet the Minimum Qualifications for this position:
Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree;
or
Successful completion of 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree;
or
Successful completion of an LL.M., if related;
or
An equivalent combination of graduate education and experience.
