You will serve as a SUPPLY SYSTEMS ANALYST in the PROPERTY MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT of NAVSEALOGCENKYPTDIVNUWC MECH PA in Port Hueneme CA.

Duties

You will be responsible for supporting the Warehouse On-Site Lead with Operating Materials and Supplies program management, performing warehouse management/administrative functions, and conducting daily warehouse inventory management operations. You will establish warehouse management methods, procedures, and business practices to organize and locate assets and report on visibility and accountability of assets in compliance with governing policy. You will serve as a subject matter expert for warehouse management processes and operations, Navy ERP warehouse management functionality, and for performing procedural and operational taskings associated with day to day warehouse operations. You will provide procedural and operational guidance and advice, coordinate operational planning and gathers and analyze information to facilitate and support executive and operation decision making. You will develop, write, interpret, and promulgate technical and operational policies and procedures associated with project/application and analytical guidelines for use by other analysts.

  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • This is a bargaining unit position.
  • You will be required to possess and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to obtain a Forklift/MHE license and/or certification within 90 days of appointment and maintain thereafter every five years until age 60 and annually thereafter.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing warehouse management operations and performing supply administrative functions to ensure accountability of an organization's assets.
