This position is part of the DoD, Missile Defense Agency. The incumbent will be responsible for serving as an Earned Value Management analyst and provides assistance and support for all operations and activities under the authority of the Director of Acquisition Earned Value Management
Duties
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Acq Demo Business and Technical Management to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
As a Program Analyst at the NH-0343-3 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Serve as a Program Analyst on Earned Value Management (EVM) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) policies, processes, products, contractual documents, terminologies, and guidance documents.
Develop and present analytical results to program managers and integrated product team leads, to apprise decision makers of potential impacts to program execution. Facilitate discussions between government team and Prime Contractor to review issues and concerns as a result of monthly IMS analysis.
Participate in program reviews to ensure contractor scope of work is executable.
Identifies risk areas, performance metric issues, and/or impacts to program or BMDS milestones, and prepares recommendations for MDA leadership.

Qualifications
You may qualify at the NH-03 broadband level, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02/GS-11 grade level in the Federal service as listed below:
Experience in analysis, trend analysis, or developing program plans, assessments and recommendations. OR
Experience with using various office automation software (word processing, presentation, spreadsheet, graphics, databases) to support financial management activities.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
