This position is located in Division of Procurement Services, Branch as Assigned. As a Supervisory Acquisition Analyst, you will be responsible to coordinate & supervise the efforts of personnel which include Agency Purchase Card Coordinator, Agency Purchase Card Specialists, and Procurement Technicians.
Duties
As a Supervisory Acquisition Analyst, you will:
Ensure the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision and values are communicated to employees and integrated into the team's strategies, goals, objectives, work plans, work products and services.
Plan and prioritize subordinates' work, setting both short- and long-range schedules as needed. Assess the capabilities and strengths of subordinates and ensure that work is assigned based on organizational priorities, employee capabilities, and level of difficulty of the work.
Establish annual performance plans, counsel employees, and evaluate their performance throughout the year, including completing an annual performance appraisal. This also includes: provide advice and counsel to employees on work-related issues, other personnel issues and administrative matters on a routine basis.
Take minor disciplinary action, as necessary, and propose additional action (e.g., suspension, demotion) for more serious cases.

The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Specialized Experience For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:
-Experience communicating with customers, vendors or staff on Government Purchase Card (GPC) related policies and procedures to ensure compliance; OR
-Experience communicating with Contractors, Contracting Officer's Representatives (CORs), Contracting Officers (COs) or Contracting Specialists (CSs) to ensure past performance evaluations are processed timely and accurately or contract closeouts are completed in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and procurement procedures.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.
