You will serve as an Intelligence Specialist (Cyber Planner) performing duties related to Network Warfare Cyberspace Planner in the CMF13A division of U S MARINE FORCES CYBERSPACE COMMAND. Supports Cyber Operational requirements of the Department of Defense (DoD), the U.S. government (USG) and its allies.

Duties

Serves as an Intelligence Specialist performing duties related to Network Warfare Cyberspace Planner responsible for the development of detailed operational planning and Concept of Operations (CONOPs) that support Cyber Operational requirements. Analyzes policies and procedures and provides support to the implementation of Cyberspace Operations (CO) related plans. Provides subject matter and planning expertise developing cyberspace operations strategies. Leads others in the development of military plans for cyberspace operations. Oversees the synchronization, coordination, and de-confliction of cyberspace operations. Maintains liaison with other personnel across the Intelligence Community, and represents the organization at meetings, working groups and conferences.

Requirements

  • You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • You must acknowledge in writing that you are accepting an appointment in the DCIPS (excepted service) which does not confer competitive status, prior to appointment.
  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • This position requires periodic polygraph examinations.
  • This position may require a 2-year DCIPS trial period.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Demonstrating an operational knowledge of the capabilities and accesses of the collection disciplines, strengths and weaknesses of specific technical sensors/platforms, and of human sources in area of responsibility; 2) Applying the principles, methods, and tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, monitoring, evaluating, and managing projects and resources, including technical performance; and, 3) Developing networks and alliances and collaborating across boundaries to build strategic relationships and achieve common goals.
