You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the NAVAL TEST WING ATLANTIC, T&E MANAGEMENT FOR PROGRAMS RESEARCH AND OPS OFC of NAVTESTWINGLANT NWCF.
The purpose of the position is to serve as the senior/staff analyst, evaluator, and advisor managing/leading the daily activities and priorities of the NTWL Commodore and Executive Director. The management analyst (MA) duties require input from and output to a myriad of areas including all Groups part of NAWCAD and/or NAVAIR.
Duties
You will perform analysis of NTWL performance metrics across a wide range of areas including but not limited to aircraft readiness, test program performance, NTWL budget distribution, and NTWL technical products.
You will collaborate and collect input from military and civilian leaders and subject matter experts across test squadrons, test divisions, and program teams.
You will gather information, identifying and analyzing issues, and developing recommendations to resolve substantive challenges of effectiveness and efficiency of work operations within NTWL.
You will use judgment and discretion in determining intent, and in interpreting and revising existing policy and regulatory guidance for use by others within or outside NTWL

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Demonstrating experience in operations with the ability to develop and implement process management tools, insure process controls are in place to support technical and over-arching management goals. 2. Conveying written information in a clear, concise, organized, and convincing manner for the intended audience. 3. Collaborate and collect information for analysis and to develop briefs, metrics and best practices for process improvements.
