Position may be filled as a temporary promotion or temporary reassignment not to exceed 2 years by a current permanent Army employee. Temporary promotions or temporary reassignments may be extended up to a maximum of five years and may be made permanent without further competition. Position may be filled as a TERM appointment not to exceed 2 years if candidate is not a current permanent Army employee. TERM appointments may be extended up to a maximum of eight years.

Duties

Planning, coordinating and directing a variety of operational, logistical and training functions related to logistical support to mobilized Individuals and Active, Reserve, and National Guard units. Prioritize, establish and coordinate all internal Logistics Division functional area taskings and suspense, ensuring mission responsiveness and adequate resourcing. Provide advice, assistance, and independently develops plans dealing with procedural and factual aspects of logistical support or portion of more complex plans while serving along or as a team member. Maintain liaison with supported units coordinating and correlating functions, plans, etc., to resolve problems and ensure accomplishment of mission. Prepare a variety of administrative actions i.e. decision papers, Information papers, memorandums, briefings, etc., on scheduling, equipment support, training, deployments and redeployments. Plan, oversee, assign, and evaluate work of subordinates in the logistics division.
