Duties

Provide leadership, direction and oversight responsibility for the programs and project management activities related to execution of various Civil Works Programs. Exercise expert analysis of a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of program effectiveness. Plan, schedule, and conduct complex projects and comprehensive studies to evaluate and recommend ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of work operations in a program. Resolve controversies between District elements, other Corps offices, Federal agencies, and customers by exercising conflict management skills and clearly communicating expectations. Exercise delegated personnel management authority by providing technical and administrative oversight of assigned subordinate employees. Plan, assign, and review work of subordinates based on priorities, difficulty of assignments, and capabilities of employees ensuring that production and accuracy requirements are met.

  • Temporary Duty (TDY) is 20% of the time.
