You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the Accounting Operations Division, Accounting Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Duties

You will review and evaluate financial management requests. You will develop, determine, and interpret financial management policies and practices. You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization's programs and administrative operations. You will implement legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets. You will provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization's programs and activities. You will perform a variety of other fiscal, accounting, or financial management duties and responsibilities.

• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• This is a Financial Management Level II certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Demonstrating knowledge and experience with financial management policies, precedents, procedures, and regulations; 2) Providing business and financial management support, analysis, advice, and guidance for acquisition of training systems for multiple warfare areas; 3) Utilizing complex enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to transact and extract financial information and perform data analysis; 4) Identifying, analyzing and conceptualizing a range of budgetary problems to develop recommendations.
