You will serve as a Program Manager in the Security Cooperation Programs Office (CSSCPO) of NAVAL AIR SYSTEM COMMAND HQ-OSF.

Duties

You will analyze needs and synthesize requirements information necessary for development of specific objectives for assigned program initiatives and for planning. You will direct the development of comprehensive program plans to ensure fulfillment of technical, cost, schedule, and performance objectives. You will serve as the central contact point within the program office for all matters concerning the program and establish relationships both within the organization and with relevant external groups. You will evaluate all acquisition activities associated with assigned programs and assure development of a management information system that provides accurate information concerning the status and progress of assigned programs. You will exercise delegated managerial authority to direct, coordinate, and oversee work of team members and implement goals and objectives of the program segment assigned to subordinates. This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes. This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

• This is a Key Security Cooperation Workforce (SCW) position and requires a DoD SCW Certification. Selectee must obtain and maintain certification within prescribed timeframes. SCW level required: SC422
• This is a Financial Management Level III certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-05/11) grade level or pay band (NH-02) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
