Duties
Serves as an Inventory Management Specialist supporting Deep Looks/Levels Monitor within Integration Branch
in Planning and Support Division ) at a DLA Industrial Support Activity (ISA).
Provides support for a variety of planning, scheduling, training, coordinating, integrating and facilitating functions supporting the work of a combined staff of Air Force and DLA Aviation ISA personnel.
Participates in logistical assessments of support in coordination with the supported commands to determine
status, feasibilities, efficiencies, trends, corrective, and preventative measures for improving command readiness
and sustainability.
Assists with complex in-depth analysis, independent reviews and comparison studies, conducting evaluation of
processes related to logistics initiatives that affect the ISA and Service.
Conducts in-depth analysis and comparison studies for programs, potential new workload, processes, and
systems in support of depot workloads.
Prepares written reports, briefings, or metrics as required for training purposes.
Works closely with Customer Support Manager, Sustainment Specialists, Demand Planners, Customer Support
Specialists, Engineering and Supply Chain Management Group to align level requirements.

Qualifications
To qualify for an Inventory Management Specialist your resume and supporting documentation must support:
A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular
competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or
related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one
year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems
in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Recommending changes to supply policy, procedures, techniques, and methods as they apply to work situations.
Planning, scheduling, conducting or participating in studies and special projects regarding/affecting supply supportability analysis.
Analyzing and evaluating various supply and sustainment processes and procedures and providing results and recommendations to resolve issues affecting material supportability.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
