You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in SEA21, PMS 443 department of NAVSEA.
Duties
You will plan, coordinate, and/or evaluate the logistics and product support Ship Control Systems (SCS) and/or Machinery Control Systems (MCS).
You will utilize predictive analysis and modeling tools to define and/or improve innovative and transformative product support strategies.
You will manage, monitor, evaluate and coordinates the execution of Integrated Product Support (IPS).
You will resolve complex product support problems by developing, initiating and overseeing the implementation of unique corrective actions, new programs, major program enhancements and/or policy changes.
You will conduct in depth cost benefit analyses, business case analysis, trade-off studies, and analysis of alternatives.
You will review and brief recommendations, and conclusions developed by the team which affect long-range program
performance and strategies.
You will ensure industry meets logistics related contractual requirements, evaluation of industry proposals, analyzing and resolving obsolescence issues, oversight of Naval Surface Warfare Centers (NSWCs) and/or Fleet Customers.
You will perform program logistics efforts, ensure appropriate IPS products are incorporated into the configuration management and change management processes.
You will engage with internal and external stakeholders for program logistics related matters, ensure appropriate closure of any contractual deficiencies, ensure delivery of all appropriate IPS products/deliverables.
You will formulate strategies and tactics to acquire and allocate resources to achieve logistics requirements to meet program goals, milestones, and schedule requirements.
You will effectively influence, lead, and direct multi-disciplinary organizations to achieve logistics and product support goals for the Ship Control Systems (SCS) and/or Machinery Control Systems (MCS).

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band (NH-02) or grade level (GS-11) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing lifecycle logistics management functions to support the acquisition of systems for an organization..
