About the Position: As Chief, Program Analysis and Cost Division, CECOM G8, responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight for the following areas: Manpower Analysis, Future Year POM (manpower and funding), Cost and Economic Analysis, and Command-wide reimbursable planning and documentation. Provides strategic direction, guidance and oversight to these functions to support the development and coordination of Command resource management planning and programming.
Duties
As the Chief, Program Analysis and Cost Division, G-8, assumes full responsibility for the coordination of work within the Division and synchronizing Division work products across the G8 enterprise in support of Command mission
Directs the development and coordination of the Command's future year resource management planning.
Develops and defends financial and manpower requirements for the organization.
Oversees the development and maintenance of the Command's reimbursable planning and documentation.
Synthesizes resource management (financial and manpower) data to interpret trends in the Command's financial operations and advise on future resourcing strategies and decision impacts.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires submission of Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, upon entering the position and annually thereafter.
- Position is Non-Critical Sensitive (2) requiring a Secret security clearance or the incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- Must serve 1 year supervisory probationary period.
- Requires DoD FM Level III certification within 24 months of selection.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes overseeing the day-to-day operations and providing strategic direction in the areas of: 1) Future year programming / planning; 2) Manpower Analysis; 3) Reimbursable support planning and documentation; and (4) financial analysis to support Course of Action recommendations to Senior Leadership. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the Federal service (NH-03/GS-13).
