Duties
Serves as a senior consultant providing analysis and assessment of enterprise-wide DFAS Initiatives, projects, or programs with strategic, enterprise, or tactical impacts relative to the agency strategy.
Senior consultant for the overall management, control, coordination and execution of specified projects and the provisions of Microsoft Project consulting support.
Provides technical analysis, review, and recommendations related to initiative project management plans, goals, objectives, outcomes, schedules, and risks for the agency programs.
Participates and executes all aspects of the program within cost, schedule, performance, and/or system supportability requirements.

Qualifications
One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-12) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.
Specialized Experience Is Defined As:
Managing support programs, risk management and the proper delegation of work. Comprehensive knowledge of Business Intelligence and AI utilizing the Strategy and Support Business Model. Possess expert level understanding of the DFAS Business Process, end to end processing, analysis of policy and with the ability to provide program and consulting support and briefings to all levels of management.
Time-in-Grade:
Current or former federal employees who have held a GS position in the preceding 52 weeks, must meet the time in grade requirement. Applicant must have served 52 weeks as a GS-12 or higher grade in Federal Service.
You may qualify for consideration if meeting time-in grade, specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.

Education is not substitutable for specialized experience at this grade level.
