About the Position: Serves as Requirements Program Analyst in the Requirements Integration and Assessments Division, Directorate of Integration (DOI), Force Development Directorate, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G8.
Duties
Identify and integrates complementary developments in materiel and non-materiel solutions with combat developers, program managers, and the testing community to improve warfighting capabilities for both the Army and Joint Force.
Maintain awareness of the status of materiel acquisition programs for materiel capabilities.
Integrate and collaborate with OSD, Joint Staff, HQDA, and Army Senior Leaders to include the VCJCS, CSA and VCSA to gain approval of requirements and program support.
Prepare executive correspondence for Army Senior leaders in support of JROC/AROC forums to include executive summaries (EXSUMs), approval memorandums, and other critical documents for VCJCS/CSA/VCSA approval.
Represent the Army at important JROC/AROC forums and ensures the effective presentation of a well-coordinated and convincing Army position that best supports the Joint Warfighting community.

GS-11 Specialized experience is defined as: Assisting with the preparation of executive correspondence for Senior leaders to include executive summaries (EXSUMs); Assisting with the preparation of approval memorandums, and/or other documents for chain of command endorsement; Assisting with the review of programs to ensure necessary requirements standards are met according to the Joint Capabilities Integration Development System; Assisting with the conduct analysis to identify and justify system(s) requirements to members of the first level of chain of command.

Successfully completed a Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree in fields which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position, such as economics, finance, statistics, math, or business (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
GS-12 Specialized experience is defined as: Preparing executive correspondence for Senior leaders to include executive summaries (EXSUMs); Assisting with the preparation of approval memorandums, and/or other documents for chain of command approval; Assisting with the review of programs to ensure necessary requirements standards are met according to the Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (JCIDS) as defined in the JCIDS Manual; Assisting with the conduct analysis to identify and justify system(s) requirements to members of the chain of command.
GS-13 Specialized experience is defined as: Preparing executive correspondence for Senior leaders to include executive summaries (EXSUMs), approval memorandums, and/or other critical documents agency approval; Reviewing programs to ensure necessary requirements standards are met according to the Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (JCIDS) as defined in the JCIDS Manual; Conduct analysis to identify and justify system(s) requirements to senior leadership.
