You will serve as an intelligence specialist at the GG-13 level and conduct a wide range of complex HUMINT collection, analysis, evaluation, interpretation, or dissemination of information and/or products relative to an assigned area(s) on political, economic, social, cultural, physical, geographic, technical or military conditions for one or more foreign countries. This position is located in Dam Neck, Virginia Beach, VA.
Duties
You will consult with leadership and legal advisors to ensure operations/activities are conducted in accordance with applicable intelligence oversight regulations, policies, and other directive guidance.
You will coordinate information and resource requirements, decisions, authorizations, and recommendations with executive-level and senior representatives of DoD and interagency partners
You will provide oversight, assessments, and recommendations to support plans, policies, procedures, and concept development related to HUMINT operations/activities in support of command requirements.
You will apply and evaluate HUMINT tactics, techniques, and procedures in support of special activities as they relate to NSW operations.
Requirements

- You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You must acknowledge in writing that you are accepting an appointment in the DCIPS (excepted service) which does not confer competitive status, prior to appointment.
- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- This position is subject to polygraph examination.
- This position may require a 2-year DCIPS trial period requirement.
- May be authorized to carry a weapon as required and must therefore be qualified with the weapon. This position is covered by the domestic violence amendment (Lautenberg Amendment) to the Gun Control Act of 1968.
- This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. You will be required to sign a DD-Form-2760, Qualification to possess firearms or ammunition.
- This position is considered Key/Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.
- This position may require work outside of Monday-Friday work week.
- This position requires the possession of one of the following certificates FTC/OTC/MOTC/DOQC.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector such as:
1) Apply HUMINT tactics, techniques, and procedures in support of special activities related to HUMINT operations;
2) Provide oversight, assessments, and recommendations to support plans, policies, procedures and concept development related to HUMINT operations/activities in support of command requirements;
3) Evaluate risks of current plans, policies, operational actives, and recommend courses of action to ensure the optimum resource utilization of HUMINT management.
