Duties

This position is located under the Office of Professional Responsibility and Security Operations, Personnel Security Division, located in District of Columbia, District of Columbia.

Requirements

Qualifications

To qualify for 15, candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-14. GS-15 - You qualify if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-15 grade level in the Federal, State, or Local government or equivalent public or private sector. Specialized Experience is: Leads, directs and assigns work of personnel; AND Utilizes supervisory duties which includes administrative and operational matters, budgetary activities, strategic planning, fiscal/personnel resources and information technology issues affecting program operations; AND Develops and implements personnel security management policies, practices and procedures; AND Oversees the tracking of all background investigations assigned to employees and/or contractors; AND Utilizes oral and written communication skills (a must to deal with various levels of internal and external management).
